Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas will Host Recruitment Event
Rogers, AR (July 25, 2007) - Mercy Health System
of Northwest Arkansas (Mercy) is hosting a hiring event on August 2
from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. to recruit a large number of classroom trainers.
These individuals will teach Mercy physicians, nurses and other employees
how to use a new computer system that will be implemented in early 2008.
The hiring event will be held at the Hammons Center, located at 3303
Pinnacle Hills Parkway in Rogers, Arkansas ? adjacent to the Embassy
Suites Northwest Arkansas.
Mercy is seeking to hire approximately 65 classroom trainers by
October. Trainers will receive on-the-job instruction on the required
computer applications, as well as on teaching skills and adult learning
principles. While most of the positions will be temporary full-time
opportunities, a few will be regular full-time positions. Interested
candidates should expect positions to last from four to six months and
to earn $20 an hour on average.
"Trainers do not need a background in the computer applications that
they will be teaching, but they do need to be comfortable on their
feet in a classroom setting," said Laura Stark, senior consultant
in Mercy's human resources shared services group. "Ideal candidates
might include retired or part-time teachers and trainers, recent
graduates of public relations, media or computer training programs,
or others with strong communications skills."
Mercy's new computer system will provide physicians, nurses and other
healthcare providers with innovative technology to manage patient
care, including the creation of an electronic medical record for
each patient.
Interested candidates can logon to
www.mercygenesis.com to register for the event.
